Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist to join a dynamic team in Scottsdale, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to manage both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within a fast-paced environment. The position requires full-time, onsite work and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working collaboratively to meet financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a very high volume full-cycle Accounts Payable responsibilities, including:
    • Processing and posting vendor invoices and credit notes with correct coding to GL or PO using 3-way match.
    • Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders via phone or email to process invoicing and payment status inquiries.
    • Preparing and processing supplier payments.
  • Assist with full-cycle Accounts Receivable responsibilities, including:
    • Completing daily customer invoice batch processing and distribution.
    • Performing accurate daily cash application.
    • Monitoring, collecting, and escalating aged accounts receivable.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Support audit requests and complete month-end close activities, such as subledger reconciliations.
  • Support projects, implementations, and knowledge transfers as assigned.
  • Ensure timely response to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in a high-volume fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel pivot tables & Vlookup is required.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift, onsite in Scottsdale, AZ.
